I've been working on Vox for about a year now and posting since we had the earliest builds up and running. That gives me a bit of a jaded view, so I'm starting over with a brand-spanking-new Vox blog to see what it's like starting now.
You might have seen the Apple comercials advertising a Mac's out of box experience, and Apple spends a lot of time devoted to that, regularly testing and refining the first time experience (and I wanted to get the subdoman "jamison" before it got snatched up)

I'm glad Futurama is coming back, along with TV's lovable Bender. This is funny enough on it's own, but I hope Al Gore will be making some more appearances.
He was in the show twice, first leading his Vice Presidential Action Rangers, and later in an episode on global warming he was introduced as the creator of the environment and first emporer of the moon.
I would say it makes me happy, but there are a good many Radiohead songs which make me feel less alone. How to Disapear Completely, of course Creep, Paranoid Android and No Surpises from OK Computer.

What's my favorite mascot?
Well, one I think is really amuzing is the Healthy Penis (pictured here on Castro Street with Syphilis) which is the mascot for an anti-syphilis (and HIV/AIDS) education campaign.
I like the comic posters of the healthy penis, I think the penis getting spanked at Folsom is especially funny.
What's the best movie sequel?
Oh that's an easy question: The Empire Strikes Back.
Flickr's undergone a redisgn, now flagging it's as Flickr Gamma, replacing the two-tier navigation menu with a single primary menu. Within different sections users are presented with a second level menu.
Also added is an expandable menu on other users avatar photos which provides more options than the previous menu which would appear if you hovered for a few seconds.
Water slides! I'm still not comfortable with water slides.
When I was young, Marine World opened a water slide and my father took me down it. I don't remember the part where we got seperated, I only remember waiting in line and then regaining concousness at the side of the pool with a ton of people standing around.
My mother doesn't understand why this still bothers me, after all, I wasn't out for that long and they pulled me out of the water right away.
Ever since we started using the term "Neighborhood" in Comet, I've started using Arcade Fire's Funeral as an example album in all my wireframes.
